Oregon Heritage Conference To Be Held May 4-6 In Eugene

The 2008 Oregon Heritage Conference will be held May 4-6 in Eugene at the Valley River Inn.

The conference theme is "Go the Distance! Sustain Oregon Heritage!" and will build upon Eugene's unique heritage of Track Town USA. Other points of emphasis include addressing the major issues of financial, organizational, environmental, collections, preservation and heritage sustainability.

More than 25 sessions and workshops are scheduled, as well as tours, the Oregon Heritage Excellence Awards banquet, and the State of Oregon Heritage Session.
