Considered one of the nation's top birding hotspots, the Klamath Basin Birding Trail is close to 300 miles long and features 47 birding sites within three major regions - Cascade Mountains, Great Basin, and Modoc Plateau.

So, what will you see? Over 350 bird species inhabit Upper Klamath Basin and spring and fall bring 80-percent of the Pacific Flyway's waterfowl across the region. In the winter, the basin features the largest concentration of bald eagles in the lower 48 states.
