Calling all front line visitor center staff around the state! The 2008 Welcome Center Training Conference will be at the Phoenix Inn Suites in Bend, March 9-11.
This conference is open to all visitor and welcome center staff, attractions and any tourism or hospitality industry front line staff and is a great way to learn the latest visitor and permit information from many state organizations such as Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife and Oregon Parks & Recreation Department as well as new attractions, hotels, etc. in all seven regions of the state.

The conference is a joint collaboration between Travel Oregon and the Oregon Travel Information Council and is being hosted locally by the Bend Visitor and Convention Bureau.
The Bend VCB has planned a walking tour of downtown Bend, a reception at Deschutes Brewery and a bus tour of the area so attendees will also be able to learn about all the visitor related activities in Central Oregon. The conference registration is a bargain at just $50 per person.
