Travel Oregon finalized an agreement with FTI (Frosch Touristik GmbH), a top German Tour Operator, as the "Highlight of the Year". Oregon will be featured on the front cover of all 2008 FTI brochures.

Over 1 million copies of the tour operator's catalogues highlighting Oregon were printed and distributed in November. Along with this promotion, Travel Oregon in cooperation with Wiechmann Tourism Services, our German public relations firm, created a window display promoting Oregon as a must-see destination.
In September 2007, Travel Oregon hosted Fernweh, a travel show in Germany, commissioned by FTI to film locations being promoted as part of the "Highlight of the Year" promotion. Travel Oregon put this research trip together in collaboration with Wiechmann and FTI. Travel Oregon will also receive the b-roll footage from this filming.
