While the rest of us were getting soggy in Oregon, our tourism delegation hit Las Vegas for the 40th annual International Pow Wow. Our team had 168 appointments and toasted the "best" Pow Wow ever!
The team consisted of: Teresa O'Neill, Petra Nahr, Lisa Itel, Eva Staack, Vincent O. van Leeuwlen, Sue Price, Meg Trendler, Rebecah Morris, Kristine McConnell, Kyla Hartzell, Sylke Neal-Finnegan, Melody Miller, Michelle Liberty, Kathy Hansen, Jeff Hammerly, Greg Eckhart, Karen Viehoever, Steven Steinberg, Lauren van Domelen, Scott Hartcorn, and Cherie Prochaska.
The premier event is the largest generator of Visit USA travel.
Thanks to the combined staff's of Travel Oregon and Travel Portland for a job well done organizing this very exciting event. The combined efforts of the entire Oregon delegation were second to none and the benefits to our tourism community, even for those not in attendance, will be felt for quite some time to come.
