Travel Oregon's International & Domestic Travel Trade department has been busy making the Trade Show circuit over the past couple of months. Here's a look at what they've been up to…
Petra Nahr, European Sales/Marketing Manager, attended World Travel Mart in London on November 12-15 and leads will be going out in the next week to your regional Destination Marketing Organization. From there, Petra went to Visit USA Netherlands in Amsterdam followed by sales calls in France. Travel Oregon also participated in two media events with Pink Martini in London and in France inviting key participants to the events.
Sean Egusa, Travel Trade Manager, Asia, attended World Travel Fair/JATA in Tokyo in September and leads have been distributed to your RDMO. Jessie Lin of the Oregon Economic Community Development Department (OECDD) conducted an Oregon Destination Seminar with Northwest Airlines in Taiwan for tour operators and travel agents.
Lisa Itel, Travel Trade Manager, The Americas, attended the Adventure World Travel Summit and National Tour Association, and has distributed leads for both shows. At NTA, Oregon and Washington hosted 50 tour operators at a dinner at the Kansas City Jazz Museum.
