Travelers seeking Oregon's fresh air, clean environment and wonderful food get an added benefit on January 1, 2009, when the expanded Smokefree Workplace Law takes effect and prohibits smoking in nearly all Oregon indoor public places -- and plenty of outdoor public spaces.
This is good news for Oregonians and visitors. It's also good news for businesses, helping them cut cleaning and repair costs, reduce employee sick days and attract more customers.
