A Letter to the Tourism & Hospitality Industry Regarding the Oregon Leadership Summit

Dear Oregon Tourism & Hospitality Industry Partners:

I would like to make you aware of next week's Oregon Leadership Summit, scheduled to take place Monday, December 3 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. This is an important annual statewide forum for our state's economy, bringing together top-level leaders from Oregon's business, political, and economic development arenas.

To help tell the important story of Oregon's Tourism & Hospitality Industry and its role as a key socio-economic driver in this state, the Tourism & Hospitality Consortium has been working through Travel Oregon with a number of statewide industry partners - Oregon Restaurant Association, Oregon Lodging Association, Oregon Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus, Oregon Travel Information Council and others. To emphasize this reality, we need your help in spreading the word about our presence at Monday's Summit. A strong representation of our industry will demonstrate its breadth and diversity and speak volumes about our impact in every corner of Oregon.

During the Summit Alana Audette, Jeff Miller, Chris Erickson and I will participate in a luncheon roundtable panel on "local economic drivers". In order to assure that our industry voice is heard, present and accounted for in that conversation, I personally ask that you join me at the Oregon Leadership Summit.

To register for Monday's event, please download the following document: http://www.henryvevents.com/obp/general.pdf

Please help us ensure that our industry is in the forefront of every leader's mind with this thought:

What's good for Tourism & Hospitality is good for Oregon

and

what's good for Oregon is good for Tourism & Hospitality

Thank you for your effort to be in Portland on Monday. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
