Got a slogan for you: It’s not “Travel Oregon,” “Oregon. We Love Dreamers.” though close, or “Go See Oregon.”

It’s “Dream Oregon”

We were able to visit 3 years ago, and look to make it there again soon. We stayed in Downtown Portland, enjoyed wine country, the coast, Mulnomah Falls, and Mt. Baker. We still talk about that trip, so this webpage makes me feel like it won’t be long!

You want to know how you are doing.

First, I can’t read this latest newsletter. The type is too small. The color is unreadable. Notice how the green shows up better on this dark tan/brown?

Second, your graphics are not optomized enough. They loaded SOooooooo slowly, I was almost ready to click out.

You need better design. Do what works, not what looks kewl.

We are from CURACAO, Neth. Antilles (in the Carribbean). Oregon is so far away, but it is very beautiful and we are coming in this month for the second time. We have visit several states in the US, But the service of Travel Oregon is the best. We appreciate it a lot. Thank you!

I have read you article with interest. I was born in Prinevile and raised in Burns. After having spent all my school years in Burns, WWII began during my Senior year in High School. I did move and worked in the Shipyards for a few months and was then drafter into the Army, went into the Air Corps and became a Bomber Pilot. After a Combat Tour over France and Germany and the War ending, I returned to Burns, worked in the timber country for a large lumber company. Then recalled into the Air Force and resumed my career flying Bombers, then the Berlin Airlift, The Korean Conflict, Vietnam, The Cold War, remained in the Air Force for 30 years and retired in 1973. Certainly, I enjoy reading about Oregon, but am disappointed in the lack of discussion of anything about Harney County, one of the largest Counties in the Country. Will Barnes

Thompson Creek Organics in Southern Oregon’s Applegate Valley is ready to start harvesting organic Macintosh apples! We’ll have lots and lots of these crisp, sweet/tart flavored New England favorites along with our organic apple cider at the Grower’s Markets starting this Saturday (9/5) in Ashland. It’s been so much work just getting to this point, and now it’s going to be an all out blitz to get the fruit harvested, packed (or pressed) and sold. PLEASE help us out by visiting us at the Ashland, Medford and Grants Pass growers markets and by looking for our apples and cider at the Ashland Coop, Shop n Kart, Food 4 Less, Farmers Market in Phoniex and GP… and as always if you don’t see our cider or apples please ask for them ! Thank You for supporting local organic farming!!
