We had a blast with our family, hiked, got some beautiful pictures of pristine forest and majestic falls and enjoyed the upper Diamond Lake area away from the heat and crowded lake areas. The hikes are rated from easy to difficult. We also visited Lemolo Lake for a Picnic. It would be nice to see some more day hikes in the moderate range in and near Southern Oregon. We are in Oregon. In fact, we are staying at the Royal Villa RV Resort in Bend, Oregon. A wonderful RV park. This evening we enjoyed local foods and drink at a Munch and Music festival in the park along the river. What a wonderful time. We plan on visiting the High Desert Museum in Bend, play a little golf, visit the local restaurants, tour the Quilt Show in Sisters on Saturday and visit the big community event in Bend on Sunday.
