What’s Going On in Oregon this May?

Are you sitting down? We’ve got some big news this month. We’re proud to unveil The Oregon 150 Challenge! It’s an exciting, interactive contest that encourages you to embark on a fun-filled road trip extravaganza. In the end, you may win one of seven grand tour prizes. But win or lose, we’ve put together some fantastic deals for your road trip.

Also this month, we’ve got a delicious Petrale sole recipe from Terrebonne Depot restaurant, located near Central Oregon’s stunning Smith Rock State Park.

See you in Oregon, where we’re putting rubber to the road..

Y ou’re doing just great, but then you’ve also got a terrific product to sell. And I am one of your biggest boosters. The number of people I’ve talked to about Portland’s terrific public transit system and the city are legion(recently I emailed Christoper Hume who writes a thoughtful column on urban affairs for the Toronto Star to go have a look at Portland; he said he might just do that). I’ve also talked up my two hiking trips to Oregon. And this year I plan to return. Apart from your scenic riches, you have a warm, friendly, relaxed population for whom the money-status rat race prevalent in my city means nothing. So,as I say, you’re doing fine, Just don’t mess with the recipe you’ve got going. An Oregon-lover, Toronto, Canada

Hello! As a webfooter who left “God’s Country” in the early 60’s, only getting “home” every 2-3 years, it is always a pleasure/treasure to receive “travel Oregon” – which we do. Head for Lincoln City, then Stayton/Submility/Salem/etc., etc….ah,
what a medicine! mega thanks…Pearl from
Stayton, Oregon….

How are you doing? In a word – GREAT! Change nothing. I can’t always go where you suggest, but love to read about them, and stash them away with future wandering plans. We wander a lot, in our motorhome, most of it in Oregon, and neighboring states.
