What’s Going on in Oregon this November?

With the election behind us and the fall crush successfully wrapped, this is the perfect month to unwind and enjoy Oregon Bounty’s Winemaker Dinners. Or, make your way to Oregon’s wine country over Thanksgiving weekend, when more than 120 tasting rooms will be open and buzzing.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, make sure to check out this month’s recipe and treat yourself (and your guests) to an Oregon-inspired dish of deliciousness. And don’t forget to enter for a chance to win a Deschutes River fly-fishing vacation.

Our visit to Oregon is over… we were there Sept. 4 to 16th… we enjoyed every minute of the trip, even the 3,000 miles that we drove just in your state alone…. from the coast to Hells Canyon and back…. thank you for all the info you have sent….. we do not need any more pamphlets or anything else…. please save them for someone else to enjoy from now on….. we took 1500 digital pictures, one more beautiful than the other… once again, thank you…. Liz

Thanks you so much for all the information you provided for our two week trip to Oregon from Texas in September. We had a glorious two weeks and no rain! We started in Baker City and visited Hell’s Canyon and the “Joseph loop”. We were a little taken aback by someone pumping our gas! Then we headed for Sister (the loop), Bend (another western loop) and to Crater Lake. Unfortunately there were two forest fires and the lake was smokey so we didn’t stay as long as we would have liked. Then to Klamath Falls, Roseburg, Cottage Grove and over to Bandon and up the coast. We also included Fort Clatsop, Astoria and the Mt. Hood loop. It was all glorious…the mountains, the accessible seashore, the flowers, the friendly people, and of course the shopping! The road signs sometimes are a bit puzzling, but we made it. Thanks again for a wonderful trip. We want to do it again.

My wife and I enjoyed our vacation in Oregon this past September. The coastline is beautiful–quite a change from the cornfields of Illinois! Thank you to all the friendly folks we met along the way and thanks TRAVEL OREGON for your help in planning our trip.
