Jack Herzog:

Cannon Beach is the most wonderful place for parents and kids, find out when low tide is and walk out to Haystack Rock, the 3rd largest monolith (rock) in the USA! Thousands of starfish and sea anenomes are abundant to see during low tide as well as the many puffins (birds) that fly around the rock! Its a site to see! Afterwards, stop at the Cannon Beach Bakery, home of the Haystack Bread and many other treats! Just be sure to take your camera!

Jim Cook:

I'm sure that the obvious spots have been posted but I have a hike that is worth taking that I have never seen very many people take.
Upper and lower Munson falls. It is south of Tillamook and east of the highway.

I would make sure and warn her about the dangers that come with the beauty. Every year people die on the coast. Don't ever turn your back on the ocean! Especially with young children.

Tracy:

Seaside is lots of fun. You have the beach there and lots of shopping and eating and games and hotels there. Its my favorite place. Its fun for the whole family. It's a cute little town.

Ashley Moran:
