What's Going On In Oregon This November?
November 6, 2007
This month in Oregon we’re thankful for a lot of things, including Oregon cuisine, the holidays and you!
Celebrate Thanksgiving weekend in wine country, browse through our holiday gift guide, and spoil your friends and family with our chocolaty recipe of the month.
And be sure to join us as we do a little "snow dance", in anticipation of the upcoming ski season.
See you in Oregon, where we’re shopping for a new snowboard.
P.S. Tell us how we're doing!

Are you kidding, what don't I like on this website! My daughter, grandson and son live in Cottage Grove and we love to visit whenever we can. But until we can afford to visit more often, I love to keep informed on what's going on in Oregon. Hopefully, we can move there in the future. Beautiful reporting on activities all over Oregon and I love it. We will be so informed by the time it's time to move we will know exactly what we want to do and where to go. Thank you so much, even for those fantastic getaways and sweepstakes!!!

My husband was born and raised in Or. We met in Jr. High. We have been ok for 12 years and are going to our class reunion in Hood River in Sept. of 2008. This is a beautiful time of the year and we are so anxious to visit. I love getting the e-mail from you. All of our children were born in Or. and they are so proud to tell every one.
Thank you so much for sending this information to us.

GREETINGS: WE VISITED YOUR BEAUTIFUL STATE IN OCTOBER AND
LOVED IT. WE DID A COLUMBIA RIVER CRUISE WITH MAJESTIC
AMERICAN CRUISE LINE AND THE AREAS THAT WE VISITED WERE SO
BEAUTIFUL. A TOUCH OF FALL WAS IN THE AIR AND THE COLOR WAS REALLY BEAUTIFUL. WE PLAN TO DO A CAR TRIP TO OREGON
AT A LATER DATE.
A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL AND KEEP THE INFORMATION COMING. ANNIE
WE ARE INTERESTED IN THE WINE COUNTRY AND THE COAST.

The site makes it easy for us to recommend travel planning to our East Coast relatives- www.traveloregon.com
Any chance of a tie-in with OPB's "Oregon Experience" series? We're following the Beervana piece as it comes up on DVD and were wondering if traveloregon will reprise bits and pieces?
Thanks,
Scott

Dear Sir or Madam,
I really enjoy your newsletter. We´ve been to Oregon twice and love this country. As we have friends there we got in touch with a lot of interesting recipes. And, within your newsletter, I´m always interested in new recipes. But with the Oregon Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette I can´t find in any dictionary what means "mesclum greens". Could you give me a clue.
With all best wishes,
R. Müller

My daughter and I fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit Oregon, your beaches, nurseries, gardens and woodlands. We were there in May and cannot wait to get back. In the meanwhile, your newsletter and your magazine keep us going! What a wonderful state...next time we explore the southern half of it. Thank you for keeping us informed. You do a wonderful service to your state as well as to those of us who long to be there. Thanks!
